The rule change is nothing new. I've been banned for calling people normies plenty of times. At least it's explicitly stated in the rules now rather than just being a vague "no shitposting" rule.

Calling other people normalfags is part of Wizardchan board culture. It benefits wizardchan because normies, after being called normalfags repeatedly, leave. True wizards ignore it because they know that they aren't normalfags.

I'm not saying I agree with it, just that this has been going on for a while already. If you haven't noticed posts with normalfag/normie/etc in them getting deleted, then you don't come to wizardchan enough.
