here is why i think so.

people believe in extraterrestrials out of wishful thinking. They saw a bunch of films and think if aliens existed, it would bring meaning to their existence.
They say it's arrogant to say that there is no life but us in the universe when they are the ones who believe in aliens because they want some importance in this shit-hole of a fucking existence

I hate ufologists. They should all be put in concentration camps for being liars who are trying to sell people something. They are trying to make a buck off of retards.

I find it exciting that it there could be life out there, but wish people who did believe were subtle about it and as that anon said being scammers or whatever

Fermi paradox is egocentric bullshit.
Probably there is sentient life somewhere, yet this does not imply that they should be interested in this planet, nor in its fauna.
That paradox implies that any other intelligent life form must have the same traits (curiosity for example) as human, it's so egocentric that makes me think Fermi was actually a chad.
