What is the normal age that people usually start working? I swear that past high school I never had a year that I wasn't studying at least in one period but everyone looks down on me for never having a job and no one praises me for studying both at morning and night.

Apparently 14 where I live, that's when they are allowed to work mini jobs. Specific age may vary by country, but it's most likely also whatever is set as minimum age to be employable of some kind.
